Eligibility Criteria for Financial Support
To support young PhD researchers in the field of biomaterials and wound healing, the International Conference on Biomaterials and Wound Healing (ICBWH) provides financial grants to cover specific expenses. The eligibility criteria for financial support are outlined as follows:
1. Applicant Eligibility
• Applicants must be PhD students currently enrolled in a recognized academic institution.
• Applicants must be under the age of 35 at the time of the congress (as of September 2, 2025).
• Exception: An extension of up to 18 months per child may be applied for individuals whose studies were delayed due to maternity leave.
2. Scope of Financial Support
• Registration Fee: Fully covered.
• Accommodation: Up to 500 EUR.
• Travel Expenses: Up to 800 EUR (for international applicants).
• Travel Expenses: Up to 250 EUR (for national applicants).
3. Application Requirements
• A valid student ID or an official letter from the university confirming PhD student status.
• A Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing academic achievements and relevant research experience.
• Submission of an abstract for the congress (oral or poster presentation).
4. Selection Criteria
• Academic and research background relevant to the congress topics.
• Quality and relevance of the submitted abstract.
5. Application Deadline
• The application deadline is set for May 15, 2025.
• Grant acceptance notifications will be sent by May 30, 2025.

• All abstracts must contain original work that has not been published or previously presented in identical form.
• Abstract submissions must adhere to the guidelines specified on the ‘Call for Abstracts’ page.
• Abstracts accepted for financial support cannot be modified after the application deadline.
8. Notification of Evaluation Results
• Grant acceptance notifications will be sent by May 30, 2025.
• Applicants whose submissions were not accepted will have the option to transition to standard registration and finalize their congress participation within the specified deadlines.
9. Important Notice
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
